Failed Games Sometimes the scammer completely fails to take the bait. I suspect some of them are fairly well-organised and have formulated a set of criteria which they use to decide whether the first contact shows some promise or whether it's a complete waste of time. Showing ignorance of the Internet is good for attracting a scammer, as is being female. Coming straight out and asking for a photo on the first reply invariably results in the loss of the scammer. Failed games can be viewed by clicking on the links towards the bottom of the menu bar on the left. Most of them are fairly uninteresting but are included so that you can be aware of the variety of names which the scammers are using. There are also a few ideas in there which, although they may have failed on this occasion, may come in useful in future games. Please feel free to use the ideas but I'd prefer it if you didn't copy whole emails verbatim. I've put a few games which never really got going into the "Failed Games" section (scroll to the bottom of the main menu bar on the left): Aruojo Savimbi, Marriam Abacha, Jenkins Dunbar and Awed International Lotto (March 2004). A few more previously unpublished games for the "Failed Games" section. These are fairly recent games where the scammer disappointingly failed to respond even once to my first reply: Milton Teahjay, Jewel Taylor, Francis Efoagui, Wolfgang Frostl, Victor Jaja and Bates Alan (April 2004). A few more games which never got going which I've put in the "Failed Games" section: Park Sang‑Gi, Patrick Yengeni #1, David Jabari, Jack Morgan, Anyim Anyim, Mr Zulu and Jang Doo‑Hwan (May 2004). A few more failures: Samuel Eguzo, Harry Moniba, Hamid al‑Hamid, Mariam Sese‑Seko, Meriam Abacha, Richard Miller, Williams Adam, Albert Mambo, Ghana Narcotic Bureau, Prince Omar, Princess Hasihatu (June 2004); Abdul Karim, Onome Obi, Monkey Jungle (August 2004); Dandyson Osas (September 2004). |
